When designing power backup systems based on DPS technology, customers should calculate the voltage drop along the cable in order to ensure minimum 60Vac at the backed up Node or Trunk Amps.

Splitting the Load :It is possible to reduce the flow of current through individual cables and to avoid high voltage drops by splitting the load to two directions simultaneously (see Demo page, Amp 2).

When using a 90V network, we recommend using 90V output at the remote Power Supply. In this case, voltage at the distance Amps / Node will be 90V-Voltage Drop.
